Disciplined Mind

To achieve great things in life we need to learn what suits our current conditions best. Great acts require great discipline over the mind so we may eliminate all thoughts that may lead us to a downfall. We need to learn self control over certain situations so we don't get blinded by the mask of rationalism. Patience too is one of the great virtues of life which by itself allows us to reach our goals with less mental friction and weight. There is a great saying which tells us to be like water. Water takes the form of anything it is poured in, it is fluid and adaptive. A disciplined person gathers willpower and stores it for what is important in life, where others would waste it on every little thing that crossed their path.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons,
heaven or hell.

You made me remeber that Bruce Lee quote:
“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.”

That was the exact quote i remembered myself too :D

And also this one:
“There's no talent here, this is hard work. This is an obsession. Talent does not exist, we are all equal as human beings. You could be anyone if you put in the time. You will reach the top, and that is that. I am not talented, I am obsessed.”
Try to guess how said it :)

Thanks for these wise reminders. I'm still challenged at times around the discipline.

Thanks for the feedback friend
