Who Am I?

I'm not fond of introducing myself in a lengthy form. But since everyone is doing it, I might as well join the bandwagon. So here I go...

Hi I'm Vaughn Jaye Dagoc, 28 years old. Vanj is my nickname. Living in the concrete jungle of Cebu, Philippines. Graduated Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Currently a Transaction Processor in Conduent for 5 years now.

Im a sporty person. I like to play basketball, billiards, volleyball, badminton. Im also engaged in Yawyan (Pinoy Kick Boxing) and Boxing. And I do swimming too.

My youtube channel where I upload all my adventures. I like to travel a lot while practicing how to use my DSLR and how to make or edit videos. That's when I became passionate about photography.

I joined Steemit when my workmate @josh26 introduced it to me. It enticed me to write and blog again. I stopped blogging when I was in college after realizing the meager earnings.

    Hello, Vanj, and Welcome to Steemit.

    Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.

    1. Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 10–20 photographs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
    2. Include some text to complement the photos. Anything from background info about the subject, to technical details about the camera or the photo, or even anything about your overall technique. As long as you have a fine balance between images and text, you'll get a better response.
    3. Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
    4. Be yourself.
    5. Be interesting and informative.
    6. Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
    7. Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.

    This platform is awesome glad you were able to sign up. We also do meet up if we are not busy hope next time all steemians from Cebu can have a huge gathering, this would be very fun. =)

      hey so nice I really like your post! Thanks for it!
