Life
Moments.. Memories.. Emotions.. Experiences..
All of these complete a journey called LIFE.. So here is a small tribute to life..
It is important at the outset to know if we are actually living.. Sometimes compromising, sometimes sacrificing, sometimes cribbing, yet, we are all surviving..
Through this journey an important part that we all miss is Living..
Living is not a rocket science.. Yet we make it look like one.. I know some of you reading this would be relating to yourself in some way or the other..
A student studying in his/her college would wonder why parents differ on opinions.. While parents wonder when their kids will understand them..
A married couple wonders where the love has disappeared after years of marriage..
A businessman would wonder why he is just not making profits in spite of all the efforts in his work..
A worker would be dissatisfied with his daily pay in spite of putting all his efforts at his task..
Life can be cruel to people in many ways.. An important thing about life, is the perception of the past and the relative expectation from the future. An experience that hinders your 100% output.. Doesn’t it happen to you??
May be someone who ditched you in love.. And you then treat every other person in the same manner to become precautious.. Good in a way, but then are you living??
Our memories hold our behavior and then slowly build into our habits.. The journey of life is limited; we all know it, still we do not want to change..
Important is to understand that we can try and make a difference to change our habits.. Yes, individually we have a lot of them inside, inbuilt within us.. Let’s try one different thing that we really can’t stand to do..
Consider saying a ‘hi’ to your neighbor who you just can’t stand seeing.. Give a smile to a frowning face in the street.. Talking to an orphan, a destitute, caressing a ailing street dog, just hugging your parents and telling them how special they have been, speaking out in your workplace and letting your thoughts open to your superiors, taking a risk in business expecting profits..
Now, I know if we start doing this, a lot would see this being mentally ill, since being normal in our world is to be introvert, keeping a status quo, maintaining distance from parents and enemies, avoiding risks in business, staying away from social mix-ups..
Liking a post or a picture of an orphan on Facebook or Instagram is found to be ‘cool’ in this society than stepping out and clicking a smile on a orphan’s face..
There are so many things that we can do, than just flowing through life.. Stop flowing and start living.. Since living is a real essence in this journey of life..
A few lines to conclude:
When I was born I was alone..
What I had to do was never known..
They gave me food and groom me up..
Never told me to fight or stand up..
I was protected in the arms..
Never sweated in the farms..
My life will end forever cribbing..
With what I have, am I living??
