So who else here is into tattoos?

One of my best mates is a tattoo artist, which is a bit dangerous when we hang out and have a couple of beers haha.

So obviously I have a couple of silly tattoos on my body. But the most of them mean alot to me.

So well over 10 years ago I had this idea for some knuckle tattoos based on diamond rain.

Now I run my own business vcclothing.com which I started in 1998 when I was 17 years old. VC is a clothing label and a screen printing business.

The idea behind these knuckle tatts is I look at retirement.. as the Diamond Rain.

So it will be raining diamonds when it's time to hand in the towel with work! And I will be able to live an easy life for the rest of my days.

Basically the tattoo is four diamonds on my right knuckles. Then the letters R A I N on my left knuckles.

As you can see these old diamonds need a polishing

So each one of these knuckle tatts are a milestone in my business and life. Which gets me one step closer to the diamond rain which I have to earn.

Now the first diamond I earnt was from when I quit my part time job to run VC Clothing full time and I have never looked back. So I got the first diamond in 2003.

The second diamond was for buying the house that I now live and work in.

The third diamond was for getting to live my dream and do rollerblade shows in a theme park in Beijing China for three years. Which came about from my clothing label.

My mate has just moved back to Brisbane so I thought it's time to get my fourth diamond.

The fourth diamond is to celebrate the screenprinting business which is keeping me hella busy! Which means I now have the opportunity to travel the world with my beautiful girlfriend, and live experience's that earlier in my life I could only dream of.

It has been a hell of a lot of hard work to get to this point. But it is totally worth every hard time I have been through in the past to make this dream a reality!!

Now I'm not sure what the future holds to earn the letter R so I guess time will tell.

I also got my other three diamonds polished while I was there 😊
