Focus all of your energy on building the new - Introducing myself
Hi!
I'm Melanie. The shorty mother of two tall teenagers.
I love to explore the beautiful city of Montreal and try new vegan restaurants. My husband is a fantastic cook and makes the best Kombucha in the world. If I don't succeed in my quest to convince him to join Steemit, I might post some of is best recipes.
However, I'm mainly here because I recently discovered the world of CryptoCurrencies and became obsessed with it.
In the past year, as I became more aware of the Geopolitical and Economic reality the world is in, I started to be quite discouraged and wondered:
Is there hope for a fairer more sustainable economy?
Will the wars to keep the petrodollar afloat ever end?
How can we ever free ourselves from big banks?
One day, I found this quote:
That's it! I told myself.
Stop focusing on what is going wrong and start focusing on what could solve some of the problems humanity faces.
So what's this NEW we should focus on building? I have no idea yet but I'm convinced that blockchain technology with its decentralization will be a big part of it.
