The Legend of the Wise Ole' Owls - The Watcher of Lover's Lane

There was this one Wise Ole' Owl that always seemed to perch herself in this certain tree that overlooked a secluded walkway where young lovers seemed to frequent. It might have been the view or maybe the way the heavy branch felt underneath her while she sat on it, but for some reason she would make herself available there in the early evening hours, just before sunset.

This particular Wise Ole' Owl has had the privilege of witnessing countless love interactions over her many years, a blessing you could recognize if you ever had a chance to look into her warm, orange eyes. Intimately perched high above the walkway, she could almost predict the coming of young love when it was headed her way.

Though love is this Wise Ole' Owl's folly most days, it isn't the only thing she's witnessed while quietly perched above this special place. Sometimes the lovers are experiencing difficult times and seeing their love tried in various ways. The Wise Ole' Owl has witnessed these encounters just the same though, as they were rooted in love none the less.

It's been the Wise Ole' owl's extreme pleasure to have witnessed all of this human affection over her many, many years. She sees great potential for expression, creativity, compassion and honor in those called people and having seen the way they love one another only solidifies that belief. She cares greatly for those that travel along her path, those seen by her wise ole' eyes.
