'Superheroes... Say what?'
Superhero-supervillain arena has been entertaining children ever since Stan Lee showed an entirely new world to people. True, I've always expected far more from graphic novels than it was presented in the Marvel series. It's because I've grown up in Europe, and we have always been far ahead in all aspects of this amazing craft. However, the money put behind superheroes and forceful marketing easily pushed it to the top. Undeservingly, without a doubt. Today, one can find shops dedicated to empty brute characters with absolutely no finesse dragged through boring and quite repetitive stories. After thoroughly brainwashed, the 'wisdom of the crowd' usually chooses. An awesome phrase for describing mediocrity.

I have to confess, that although I have grown up watching them in the movies, I have never been so fond of superheroes, @velimir! But I like the psychology behind them, the study that can be done to them and to the antagonists or antiheroes. In these images I am struck by the pinhead, or head of nails, which is supposed to be the demons of pain, torture and suffering. Causing suffering is their goal in life. I think there are a lot of pinheads out there! Hahahaha. Good Friday.
