Pirate Sunday.....AARGH Matey!!!

Ahoy matey's!!! Another Pirate Sunday is upon us. All you seadogs and landlubbers avast! Feast your eyes on this booty.

Ok ok. I'm the worst pirate around and managed to Hornswaggle #PirateSunday to show off my beer. I don't know any of the piratey words and had to google the above statement. But, I do have one thing in common with Pirates. I love beer!!! I picked up these bad boys on Friday after a shit night at work.

We had some transformers blow up across the street from my work on the night I was supposed to get out early. Me not thinking didn't realize that my beer store was on the same power grid and they were closed. I had 45min until they stopped selling beer and didn't know where the next closest store was. The one I did know about was about 43min away.

Into my 2008 Pontiac Vibe Race Car I jumped. With the pedal to the metal I eventually made it to the speed limit...and beyond. Exiting the highway like a rally racer, I hit the parking lot with 3min to spare. The beer selection at this location is unmatched in the area. It's like a wonderland of alcohol, but I had to make a choice quick.

There it was, a light shone on this 6 pack like a sign from on high. I got to the cash register at 1:59am. She rang it up and said $18.51 please. WTF??? It was only a 6 pack. At this point it could have been $100 and I would have gladly paid it after the night I had. So what is this golden necture?

Needless to say I only had 1 when I got home then fell asleep. It was a very good tasting beer and tonight I'll be working on the other 5 while I work in the garage.

Any recommendations of a good darker beer?
