Weekly Contest 14 || The Diary Game ||(10-09-2024) A busy but educating day

Good morning everyone, it is a pleasure to be participating in this platform and share the different activities that went on today, what went happened and various other things.

MORNING: I woke up today by 5:36 to be exact this morning, said my prayers and went to perform some chores to prepare myself for the day. My mom called me to the kitchen where we began preparing the food we will be eating for the entire day. We began by parboiling the rice we will be cooking, arranged the ingredients, and other things that will be used in preparing the food, everything was kept in place.

Meanwhile my siblings were still asleep before it got bright. So when they woke up, they performed their chores, which I joined later and assisted in washing plates, while they swept and mopped the floor. After we finished performing our duty, we took our bath, ate and dressed up prepared to go out.

My parents choosed today as a day to go check out schools my siblings will be admitted into. We packed recently to a new environment, so the distance will be too much while going and coming back from school. With these thought in mind, they decided to check out schools around our new environment to see which one is more better for them.

We left the house around past 8am and arrived at the first school. I and my parents went inside the school. On getting inside, we saw no one and decided to walk around the school and check out it's environment. My dad took a liking to the school, looked round the classes and other places in the school. We decided not to wait any longer as my parents had where to go to.

While leaving the school, we met the administrator who gave us the prospectus of the school. He also gave us a number to call in case we have any other enquiries. My parents decided to visit the next school. The second school we went to was a bit better than the first one in terms of its environment, serenity and price. We negotiated with them regarding some things, pointed out different aspects that needed more consideration and got the prospectus and left.

While going my dad dropped off my sister at school, then dropped my mom, I and my younger sister at my mom's shop. We were to have my training for steemit today. So we left after we had arranged various things and proceeded to my mentor's home. While going we passed by a lot of places, as the distance is far away from where we stay. With the rise in transport fare, the money needed to pay while going and coming back was a lot. But we made sure we were there.

AFTERNOON: Before we arrived, we asked for directions to get there. My mom called my mentor and she directed us on how to get there. We climbed a bike which took us directly to her house after we alighted from a bus. On arriving we met my mentor, who began my my training by showing me things I didn't understand before.

She showed me how to use the correct tags, how to create my link and how to post the link on Twitter, as well as other different things to make me understand better. Later we finished and I proceeded to go back to my mom's shop. While coming we made sure to take note of different directions, so our going back will be much more easier. My mom went back earlier, so I could take my time and do what I had to do, leaving me to go home alone with my younger sister.

When I got back I met my sister who got back already to my mom's shop. I and my younger sister made sure to eat before doing other things because we were very hungry. I bought bread and coke worth 0.52 steem later before going home. My sisters and I shared stories regarding how our day went and different activities that ensued. We watched movies afterwards and also customers that came to my mom's shop.

EVENING: Watching different people and their behaviors made my evening interesting. Before going some customers came to pick up their dresses which made us go home a little bit late. Eventually everyone got back, prepared dinner we ate and went to bed. My day was a busy one with different activities but fulfilling one.
