So, it's time for me to share my Steemit Achievement 6 with you.

In this achievement post, I will be writing on my understanding of curation and the steemit communities

DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW VOTING AND CURATION WORKS ON STEEMIT?

Yes, I understand that users vote and that a pool reward system (fixed reward pool) is utilized to facilitate voting. whereas only high-quality content obtains the majority of user votes, and this prize pool is allocated to the single person who posts high-quality content without plagiarizing. The money is split 50/50 between the author and the curators, and the awards you distribute from the reward pool system are determined by the amount of steem power you have in your account.
On SteemIt, there are two kinds of votes. The first is an upvote, whereas the second is a downvote. Similar to the "like" and "dislike" buttons found on YouTube and other social networking platforms.

Upvote is shown by a green arrow pointing upwards. Downvote is shown by the red arrow pointing downward.
It's called an upvote when you vote for good content on SteemIt. As a result, you begin awarding incentives from the reward pool to those who publish great content, generally known as authors. Curators are those who vote. You can be an author as well as a curator.
You can also downvote the post or be downvoted. This occurs most frequently when a post is abusive or has not been published in accordance with the guidelines. You may receive downvotes on your article if you fraud with the steem blockchain or use plagiarized content.
On Steemit, voting mana is also used. Voting mana is similar to an energy meter, and the power of your vote is determined by the percentage of voting mana you have. This implies that if I vote with 100% of my voting mana, I will receive more benefits than if I vote with 50% of my voting mana.
Every time you vote, a little amount of voting mana is depleted, but it is replenished by 20% each day.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU VOTE A POST BEFORE 5 MINUTES MARKS AFTER POSTING?

At the time of posting a post, the reward pool contains 100 percent of the curation reward. As previously stated, each post's reward matures in 7 days. The post receives an upvote or downvote throughout these seven days. Following the post payout, the prize is split 50/50 between the author and curator.
If you upvote a post within 5 minutes after its publication, a portion of the curation reward is returned to the reward pool. You will lose a percentage of your curation reward as a result of this.
If you vote right after a post is published, 100 percent of the curation reward will be kept in the rewards pool.
However, the curator collects 20% of the rewards pool in the first minute, leaving the remaining 80% in the rewards pool.
The curator will receive 40% after 2 minutes, with 60% remaining in the rewards pool.
The curator will receive 60% after 3 minutes, with 40% remaining in the rewards pool.
The curator will have 80 percent after 4 minutes, with 20% remaining in the rewards pool.
Finally, if you upvote a post within 5 minutes of it being published, the curator will receive 100% of the curation award.
