I visited the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan on this Sunday, the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie becomes world-famous since the world's most recognizable paintings, The Last Supper (L'Ultima Cena in Italian), by Leonardo da Vinci just on the wall of its refectory.

The name of the museum called CENACOLO VINCIANO, CENACOLO comes from latin, it means the place where the Last Supper happened; VINCIANO is a specific word just means by Leonardo da Vinci. In English, it is called Leonardo's Last Supper Museum.
Ticket
If you want to visit this museum, you should book the ticket online in advance at least 1 month. You only have 15 mins to appreciate this world's most recognizable painting. It is almost impossible to buy the ticket in the ticket office of museum, I found the notification in the ticket office said no tickets in the following two weeks.
The Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan
The convent was built on 1463, then Leonardo da Vinci joined the design of convent during 1495 to 1497. While the convent was damaged during the war, the restoration process almost lasts more than 20 years, then the convent exhibit such masterpiece to the public from 1999. The other painting (Crucifixion, opposite Leonardo's Last Supper) on the other side wall face to the last supper, which describes the Crucifixion.
Who hold the knife?
I suppose you know the story that happened during the last supper, so many mysterious in this painting, like who hold the knife in the hand? Why the guy seat next to Jesus has a woman's face?
这周末与 @breathewind去参观了达芬奇的《最后的晚餐》，因为参观的门票非常难定，所以 @breathewind就没事就在网上刷着看，刚好在这周末发现有票，就毫不犹豫地又去了一趟米兰。。。他会更加深入地给大家聊聊，请大家关注。
去看这幅画之前在网上了解了背景知识，不得不说知乎上的大神真多。 每个人只有十五分钟的时间进入参观，一次大约一共有25个人左右。
这幅画保存在米兰的Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie地餐厅的墙壁上，战争曾经严重地毁坏过这里，所以意大利一直在修复这个修道院和这幅壁画，直到1999年才重新向公众展示。
如果要来这里参观，强烈建议提前一个月或者两个月订票，现场买票几乎是不可能的。建议提前科普一些知识，不然在里面那十五分钟真的只能静静地看着别人滔滔不绝。
注意！最后的晚餐这幅画里耶稣脚下的这个门是后来修道院自己开的，真是不知道他们是怎么想的，这应该能算得上世界上最贵的门了吧？因为这扇门，我们现在永远看不到耶稣和他身边的两位门徒的脚了！
知乎上有一篇文章讲这位离耶稣最近的人为什么被画成了一张女人的脸，个人感觉讲的不错。有兴趣的朋友可以去看一下。
传闻这间房子，在战争年代曾经是马圈！想当年的马儿们也是天天看着《最后的晚餐》，这境界。。。

two weeks ticket booking for 15 minute in the museum. That must be supper crowded and famous museum
Actually, they control the number of people enter that hall can see this painting, normally only 25 people at one time, and the hall is super big for 25 people.

修道院的人在那扇墙上开了个小门，然后把壁画毁了一部分。。刚好是耶稣的脚的位置。

Last supper 是画在墙上的fresco 吗？Crucifixion 也是达芬奇西画的吗？
在一整面墙上墙上，达芬奇用的不是传统湿画法（我不是专业的，不懂。。。）他采用了创新的“干壁”画法，与在木质画板上作画一样，而且用了新材料，虽然颜色好，而且摸了很薄的一层牛奶和鸡蛋，但似乎忽略了耐久性，完成没多久就开始脱皮了，所以特别不容易保存，一直都在不停地维护。后来这个修道院被炸过，神奇的事情（是真的神奇），就这面墙没被炸塌。。但也损坏严重，就又修了二十几年。。
对面那幅画不是达芬奇画的，面积大概是最后的晚餐的两倍还多，作者是Giovanni Donato da Montorfano。
恩，湿画法就是Fresco了。之前去梵蒂冈看了很多。我一直以为最后晚餐是油画，原来不是。真想去看看
所以Fresco这个词就是专门用来说湿画法的壁画的吗？怪不得用这个词。。这个词在意大利语里面是新鲜的意思。
梵蒂冈西斯廷的创世纪也是fresco吗？
