Live the now

in #philosophy5 years ago (edited)

Living the now is the most efficient way to save a resource as precious as time. No matter how well we plan and time our agenda, taking advantage of the present is the most effective way to manage time.

Eat when you eat, bathe when you bathe, focus on doing only what you are doing. That is the best way to do well whatever you do.

Thinking about other things when doing something and getting distracted, losing focus, and doing many things is the best way to spoil what you are doing, waste time, and get used to it.

Well, indeed, if we choose to do one thing, it is because we consider it the best we can do. If it's not the best we can do, why do we do it?

In the same way, if there is something better to do, we will definitely have to do what is better.

If we do something, we should do our best, because we do what we decide is best to do in the present moment.

Nothing is more important than what you do in the now. Neither the future nor the past is more important than now. And what you do now is more important than what you will do in the future or what you did in the past. And this always applies, because we are always in the now.

Choosing to do something and distract ourselves is the best way to contradict ourselves, and to carry out incongruous behavior in our daily lives.

We have to live concentrated, focused on what we do, second to second as when we had fun watching a movie or playing a sport. Well, indeed, if we don't live in the present, what other time we have left to live?
