We are not a finished product

in #philosophy5 years ago

With the phrase "we are not a finished product" I intend to express two things; the first, namely, that we are not a product, because in fact we are not a product, which is very important to know, especially for people who sell themselves; and secondly, we are not finished, because we are not finished, we are not perfect.

We are not perfect, and since we are not, we can make mistakes. This is true for all people in the world, no matter their age, preparation or skill, mistakes can always be made, and as such, they will always be committed.

Looking at it from this perspective, error is anything we can do better than we do now, and we can always do better, therefore, we always make mistakes, because we are always susceptible to improvement.

This is explained, whether you are good or bad in what you do, being that we live in continuous change, we live in a process, life itself is a process, in which things don't remain static but always change, they can always to get better.

But also, they can always fall, we can always make mistakes, we are not perfect. Being too many perfectionists is itself a mistake. Waiting for all things to be ready to start is the best way to never start. Waiting for everything to go well is the best way to be disappointed. All this because we are not perfect, and we pretend that we are.

We can also apply a different perspective, and say that errors are everything that is susceptible to improvement, and therefore, errors hide perfection in potentia, being that we are perfect in potentia making mistakes, because every mistake is potentially an improvement.

Anyway, whether we are perfect or not making mistakes, we are not a finished product, because we have not reached the limit of our possibilities. The day we are finished we will be dead, and that is not a desirable end.

We are not static, we change. We are not perfect, we improve. We are not finished, we are initiated. And until we learn that we will not stop fearing two paralyzing agents of the ancient and modern world; Change and error.
