Musical Mood Of The Day: The Beatles
Good afternoon, everyone! In today's musical mood I'll be talking about British classic rock band The Beatles. One of the most successful musical acts in history, the Fab Four (as the group is also known) have managed to sell between 500 to 600 million copies of their records worldwide, making them thus the most sought after music artists thus far.

Thanks to the creative genius of the Lennon-McCartney duo of composers, the band gradually increased in fame and prestige globally throughout the turbulent geo-political times of the 1960s, with The Beatles being at the core of the hippie movement that marked the American counterculture of the late 1960s.
On through their one-decade career as a group, the four Beatles released a number of 13 studio albums, the first one being 'Please Please Me' in 1963 and the last being 'Let It Be' in 1970. As one of the most influential artists in the rock genre, many contemporary aspiring musicians cite them as a tremendous source of inspiration for their work. Below you can listen to three of my personal favourite songs. I hope you'll enjoy the audition. Cheers!
I love The Beatles! I'm a 60s music kind of guy and The Beatles were the biggest thing happening in that decade. They thought out of the box and did things never done before. They were the inspiration for Garage Rock because lots of young musicians wanted to be superstars like The Beatles and have fans (girls) chasing them wherever they went! :)
