Ember Sword is from a Danish company named So Couch Studios that promise a lot of nice things. They certainly have the aesthetics and art done well and it's certainly not a scam.
It's a modern rewrite of the Free to Play business model in favor of the user, and a love letter to MMORPG gamers. Yes, we had to turn the traditional MMO monetization model completely upside down. We don’t sell lootboxes, we don’t account-bind your cosmetics, and there’s no VIP system nor Pay to Win.

Looks like an astonishingly cool game as the art and aesthetic side is well crafted.
The game does come from a team that has had a lot of experience in real large scale video game development. It's not surprising. They improved upon the game by using blockchain assets as a Unique Selling Point.
