Lost Money

in #info7 years ago

I just lost all my SBD trying to figure out how to send it to my wallet I wander where it goes when it has no destination.10-real-things-you-can-buy-with-bitcoin.jpg
as this is my first time I am heart broken and geez my mood is just broken. I was trying to find the links that work for my country all week but bad luck they say use this use that, put your steem into a wallet but then with the wallet it also seems hopeless this business is really difficult. I would have loved to see my first buck land in my account or so now I have to keep my fingers crossed as I am actually new at this an getting help really seems Impossible. For all the new users of steem I just want to inform you to be sure of all the details before you make any type of transactions, and if your country is really available for use of these services. Yes you can make quite an considerable amount of steem if you really just be you with this.104492222-GettyImages-483236197-bitcoin.jpg

Don't give up. It's not easy or intuitive... but can be learnt. Good luck. Upvoted.

WARNING - Just 'lost' small amount of steem doing tests, transferring out of Poloniex. They might refund me, but not yet. I did it correctly. 3 transfers failed and balance not corrected. Don't trust poloniex.

That happened to me out of Poloniex too. They never responded, just put up a banner telling me something about steem is down until a fix...

I thank you so much it took me 3 years to come back to you but then again I still came back though stay blessed 🙏

Thanks I got the SBD back and I am going to try again just wish it was a simpler proses.

It's good to try transferring a small amount as a test. I usually do that just to make sure the small amount does as I expect it to, then I do the same thing with a larger amount once the small test has been successful.

Phew! stressful when you're thinking - shit wtf happened! - Glad you got your SBD back :)

I resteemed, next time be more careful. @Blocktrades is there anything you can do?

@hilarski that's nice of you, i'm one of your followers

There is a need to help people like this so they don't get discourage quickly and through your resteem, i was able to come across this and gave my little support.

I think @blocktrades will solve this. great company!

Hi @vinclaceee,

Don't worry it is not lost entirely:)
You've sent it to blocktrades.

You can write an email to them and probably get your coins back.

You will need to provide the transaction ID, which I can not give you right now because steemd.com is not showing it as the site is under maintenance.

Let me know if you need more help.

"O" and I need the email address please...

You were almost on the right track with the withdrawal:)

You can sell your SBD or STEEM coins for Bitcoin through blocktrades. Just click the down arrow next to the amount you have in your wallet and choose Sell.

It will redirect you to blocktrades. Input the amount you want to sell and the receiver Bitcoin address. Than click on Get deposit address. Read the info what shows up.
Copy the memo code.

Go back to your wallet and make a transfer (similarly, click the down arrow and choose transfer). The recipient is @blocktrades also paste the provided memo code to the memo section!

Steemit will ask for you ACTIVE private key to validate the transaction.

Than wait until the STEEM, than Bitcoin blockchain clears your transaction. From that point, you can sell your Bitcoins to local currency.

Done!:)

Finally, the email address for your inquiry is :
support@blocktrades.us

You can give them this as a transaction ID: e0f8ea5fd1cb93d816818e3eeae4841bed29dce3

This happened to me a few days ago. It was refunded to me within 24 hours. You'll get it, don't worry.

I'm sorry to hear about that @vinclace33. I am starting to use exchanges and purchasing and withdrawing, it is a very confusing process. Hope everything works out for you!

Good to know about the transaction from one country to other.
