World's oldest plant discovered in India
If there is no tree plant in the world then the existence of a human being will not survive. From tree plants we get the reservoir of oxygen. Scientists have recently discovered a fossil of 1.6 billion years old tree in Central India. This tree is being described as a red fossil. For your information, please tell that this fossil is the oldest evidence in the form of a plant present on earth.
Researchers from the Museum of Natural History of Sweden have done this unique discovery. Let us tell you that the fossil of this tree has been discovered in Chitrakoot area of Madhya Pradesh. This new discovery reveals that the multicellular life going into today's time has come into existence very long before our thinking. Even before this, such fossils have been found on earth, and they were all single celled organisms.
Let me tell you that the multicellular organisms previously discovered were about 600 million years ago. Recently, this new discovery has established a new dimension in the history of vegetation. The special thing is that the researchers found a very good condition under the rocks in two fossil chitrakoots that look like red algae.
I always like to read/watch about similar topics. It is great that someone is working on researching those things and describe our history and the past. It is really cool that they found the oldest evidence of life. I want to see it. Is it possible?
Thanks for sharing this post, please inform us when you will have more information about this fossil. Keep doing :)
