DEVELOPED FAITH

Text: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith...” Rom 4:20

Life is progressive. The progression of life also comes with greater demands. As life places greater demands on our lives so also we must ensure that the quality of our faith in God grows. It’s possible you were able to handle a challenge very well yesterday and you are unable to handle another at a later day; it simply means that a higher level of faith was required for the current challenge.
Developing our faith is not a destination but a journey. This will continue as long as we are alive and we want to keep making progress with life. Life will always deliver to a man in proportion to the level of faith they have developed.

Faith in God is developed principally through the word of God. Therefore the amount of the word of God at work in us will determine the level of faith we have. Faith is not a mystical thing; it’s simply having confidence in the ability and the integrity of God’s word. Everything about God is revealed to us via his word. The word of God has to become everything to us. It has to become the most important thing in your life. As we relate closely with the word of God, God begins to reveal himself to us personally.

Let’s look at some of the traces of a developed faith:

1. You’ll begin to believe God for things that others find difficult to comprehend.
2. Your dominant thoughts and words will completely agree with God’s word. You will find it difficult to say whatever is contrary to God’s word.
3. You are not easily moved by circumstances. Your heart is fixed trusting in God.
4. You will not be afraid to be different and to hold on to what you believe irrespective of what others believe.
   These are traits of a developed faith. They can also be at different levels of operation in our lives.

PRAYER:
Thank you Lord for my faith is growing and producing results. I am changing levels on a daily basis.
