FAITHFUL GOD

Text: “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Cor 1:9

There is nowhere in the Bible that tells us that we’ll not face challenges. Challenges will come at different times and at different levels in our lives. In the midst of this one thing that will keep our heads high and confident is to know that God is faithful. Once we doubt the faithfulness of God it will be difficult to handle life as it comes.
Faithful means constant. Situations may change, people may change. The government may change but God is constant. With God there is neither variableness nor shadow of turning. He’s reliable, dependable and trustworthy.

Faithful means that whatever God was before, he is today. The scripture tells us that he that must come to God must believe that he is. (Heb 11:6). He was not just a healer; he is a healer.
Faithful means that whatever God has done before he’s still doing today and even doing more. He made a way in the sea before he can still make a way today where there seems to be no way. He brought down the wall of Jericho before he can still do that today.
Faithful means that whatever he has said he will not alter. His word has never needed to be previewed or edited. His word has produced results in so many lives and it will do the same for any one that will apply themselves to it.

Sarah was already too old to conceive. Every biological parameter for conception had shut down. In the midst of that she judged God faithful. She concluded that since God has spoken his faithfulness will bring it to pass. If you ever doubt anything don’t doubt the faithfulness of God. We can count on him in the midst of the challenges of life. We can depend on him when everything else has failed. He’s reliable, dependable and ever ready.

PRAYER:
Lord I declare that you are faithful in every situation of life. I depend on your faithfulness to bring me through the circumstances of life.
