LANGUAGE OF VICTORY

Text: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

The direction of your words is the direction of your life. Wherever you want to go and whatever you want to see begins from your heart and expressed in your mouth. Each one of us is constantly prophesying the outcome of our lives by the things we constantly say. It could be very obvious that we have a challenge in a particular area of life; this is a time for us to begin to establish our victory by the words of our mouth. If your heart is truly filled with faith it will find expression in your mouth. A dried mouth is a reflection of a dried heart.

The giants in the land of Canaan were not imaginary. They were real. The twelve spies saw the same thing. Ten of them began to speak words of defeat. Just listen to them “...We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” Numbers 13:31. This people by their own mouths declared their defeat. It was not the enemy that defeated them but their words. Caleb on the other hand spoke the language of victory, “....let us go at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Verse 30.

As Christians, we are victorious in Christ Jesus, and we maintain our victory by speaking faith-filled words. We speak the language of victors. We speak righteousness, success and excellence only. The Apostle Paul calls our language “the wisdom of God”; “Howbeit we speak wisdom...But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery.”
When someone says things are bad; declare God is good. When others are talking down talk yourself up. Job 22:29 says “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is a lifting up.” This is the language of victory. Let the Spirit of God circumcise your lips to only speak words of victory and success. Speak in line with your expectations.

PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus I declare my victory. I’m not a victim but a victor over every life circumstances.
