A very commited member of steemit uyo community; @datibomchic, yesterday got an early christmas present, and she wept for joy. I saw the tears in her eyes and I wondered what she might have gone through to warrant such emotional out burst.

Well, I found out. @datibomchic had been using an outdated phone since 2012. She was somehow limited, the phones functionality was obsolete. Anytime she wanted to make a post on steemit, she'd have to travel some long distance to use @samstickkz laptop. It was really frustrating, she couldn't properly engage on steemit; commenting, upvoting posts and interacting with fellow steemians. Her post were always undervalued. Aside steemit, she didn't have an online presence.
Due to her attractiveness, and sweet nature, anytime she tried to raise money from so-called friends and family, they'd always request one thing in exchange; her body.
She got fed up with the whole situation until her efforts on steemit payed off. She cashed out a few SBDs and got a really good mobile phone.

To some of you reading this post, a new phone might not be something to go emotional for, but for her it isn't just about the phone, it is the fact that she ordinarily wouldn't have been able to afford the phone she got, and all she went through; the ones I narrated and others I couldn't narrate.
For her it is indeed an early Christmas present, a testimony to the fact that steemit pays. She made a post to give her testimony and to thank all steemians who have been commenting and upvoting her posts.
