Recently in Aceh the saman dance was spreading with the 10001 collaboration of members of the dance saman from Gayo Aceh, and this is the recorder of MURI world.
Saman dance is a traditional dance originating from Southeast Aceh precisely in the Gayo highlands area. Saman dance is also known as a thousand hand dance.
The name "Saman" comes from the name of the person who created this dance, Sheikh Saman. Shaykh Saman is one of the scholars who spread Islam in the region of Aceh.
The uniqueness of this Saman Dance lies in the incredible compactness of its movement. Saman dancers can move in unison following the harmonious music. Regular movements as if moved one body, continue to dance with a compact, following a dynamic song kick. It's interesting, is not it? No one if the dance saman many captivate the lovers of dance art.
