A Dream Steem Story about A Farmer, Mother and Moon
The engineer waited agitated, more than ready to build the smart city of his dreams for which, by no means, was enough ground within the borders of the country
We have to expand dear man your services are no longer needed, I'm aware this isn't an exciting announcement. You better start packing, the next ship leaves within two hours. You were informed, and you confirmed by signing the contract.
I did not, what load of shit are you trying to drop on my land!
No need to shout, I'm not deaf.
The engineer prepared for the worst showed the farmer the X placed underneath the word 'signature'.
For sure this isn't mine.
Of course, it is, the soldier said pointing his gun at the face of the stubborn man who refused to leave the countryside. Everyone knows farmers are stupid and can't read and write, that's why it's signed with an X, right? Move, start packing your bag, one only, travelling light is the new trend.
What if I refuse?
It's up to you, you are a free man, the engineer declared. He felt irritated, his expectations of the soldier's help had dropped to zero.
I stay.
The choice is yours. Enjoy space.
A single shot filled the air. Eyes looked up in surprise as he fell on the earth, the soil he had cherished his entire life.
Enough bullshit, clean it up, the annoyed engineer yelled at the soldier, his coffin will be dumped in truck XOX which leaves within 30 minutes to the spaceship. Hurry, before the night falls all farmers should be X-ported. A brave new world is waiting.
What about planet X?
That planet is occupied, not meant as a safe harbour for polluters and stupid creatures.
There was no time to waste. The soldier felt a bit worried. The words of the engineer affected him more as he liked to admit. He dropped the corpse into the coffin and for a second he felt pity for the farmer who fought for and lost his land. The dumbass had even died for his country.
At night when most were asleep Mother Earth grieved for the loss of all those who had given her a daily dose of attention, care and love. And while the moon was covering her back she watched the ships leave and disappear one by one into the galaxy.
Man on the Moon it's time to return, there's work to do.
A rock that had a lot in common with a piece of cheese, flew through the air and crushed the engineer.
One more to go, a voice echoed followed by a whoosh and smack
She smiled, felt relieved and was happy to see Moon the satellite most close to her would never let her down. From now on she would ban Twitter, the irritating bird who loved to interfere and tweet around. He would perfectly fit in on X, infiltrate and take care of the trashy fake planet that shouldn't have existed in the first place.
She could already hear the echo of Twitter on planet X

This is the idea behind it. We thought a good comment should be read and shared meaning making a post out of it might attrack more people to read it.
My entry is the challenge you gave and it's my comment on the post he wrote. I tried to make it fit with his great Twitter Birdie which is a comment on a post of mine (It was where planet X saw daylight) so in a way we are creating a story chain between different writers (his letter entry is part of the italygame). My next entry will be a comment on someone's post and I'll see if I can add other stories.
The hope is to find the commenters, writers and start interacting again. A small active group is fine.
Ps if I can't fit it into a contest or certain community with a topic it will be posted in @freewritehouse. Steemit needs to be fun, give energy so club or whatsover isn't important. I will change my tags too because in average they are useless for searching. So far yours are the only ones making sense.

Compared to this wonderful story, I have done an essay!
Trust me there are essays a hundred times better than any story or bestselling book.
I can only speak for myself but if I read others, you are one of them, I am always surprised by what they wrote, wondering how come my brain couldn't come up with something better.
It's a good thing there are so many writers, it makes me feel like a child in the bookstore (no candystore for me) on saturday morning. Left in paradise enjoying the world of stories.
