No Defence

And every time I think: just look at it, there's another message. Sometimes it feels like there's a curse on it... on those messages, or perhaps my thoughts? Not on me, that's for sure.
Today I went through my wish list. A person can need all sorts of things, but what is necessary? Considering the message I read yesterday, it's most likely just everything that keeps you alive and that you can use as a bargaining chip. Is it necessary to hoard it? I heard on the commercial that supermarkets have been reprimanded for offering deals like: buy 3, get 2 free, or buy 2, get 1 free... these are always premium brands, something the average Joe can't afford. Why the reprimand? Because it's supposedly to prevent waste, and at the same time, the government is blaring on the radio that we need to be prepared for a power outage. Indeed, I say "out of order" because that's what it is, because the Tower comes first, and the Royal Family, even if they're all in Greece or Argentina, flying around like crazy. For the rich, there's no shortage of electricity or food, and those who are rich never pollute, and their pockets are never picked. Those who are rich can't be threatened, and neither can the police. If you're a plebeian, the law doesn't care about you, unless you're a girl wielding an axe... self-defense is taboo. Getting killed is what you have to do.
So today I went through my wish list again. A wood splitter, a robotic lawnmower, or a weapon for self-defense... something from the Wild West, a crossbow, or just a flare gun that emits a pleasant cloud of smoke and stuns the attacker, who can then still yell "help!" "Help," as if someone is coming. The freezer is long gone, but I also have wells that can be dumped. Nothing hurts a person as much as no defence.

Would you fall for it if someone told you you'd be on a hidden camera show (in reality, the women were used to kill people with a poisonous cream)? No, I said (not because I can say no plenty of times a day), I don't like stupid TV game shows. I would say yes if I were asked to be a serial killer (hitman). Instead, I'm offered a game...

It reminds me of how people receive government assistance and then get criticized for spending it on frozen food. It feels so conflicting; when you are on a tight budget with a limited range of options, you have to buy what lasts and what you can afford which is usually canned or frozen goods. Why do people feel the need to condemn what someone else buys for their household, especially when they aren't the ones trying to survive on a limited budget?

I doubt anyone with us would buy frozen food. Frozen food is expensive, and you need a deepfryzer which is also not cheap. Most likely they will eat: bread, bread, pasta, potatochips and tea biscuits (all cheap in a way). So no vegetables, fruits, meat, fish and so on, since that's all way too expensive, although I must say there are also many who keep smoking and drinking alcohol and for that amount of money one can also buy healthy food.

Canned food is with us way cheaper escpecially if you buy beans, and a plus is it's all cooked and you can eat it straight out of the can. Besides beans, they say it's healthy, helps fight cancer,, although you might fart 24/7, which means you feel uncomfortable with a swollen belly...

Why do people interfere? Because it's not the government's money but the money tax payers pay and they like to have a saying (not that they have otherwise, most likely they would not pay taxes and not spend it on paying the sky rocketing wages of the government and give to all those aid funds). No way ministers would spend that much of their own income.

Just wait a bit and you will see as soon as the digital coin is a fact, there's no cash and every citizen has a digital wallet the state will tell you on what to spend it. No frozen food, no meat, no fisch, no candies, no pudding, no chocolate, no cookies, no restaurants, no, no and no....

You are right. Frozen food for frying is expensive.

I usually stick to frozen strawberries and spinach for my smoothies; it's much cheaper than buying fresh. I also rely on frozen meals for those days when I’m too unwell to cook anything.

Now I know why I’ve been so gassy in the evenings. I’ve been having mixed grain and bean porridge for dinner!

I keep both dried and canned versions on hand; the canned ones are so convenient when I need to bulk up a dish quickly.

It the general public condemns individuals for how they spend aid money. It’s not like we’re out here buying 'nonsense' or luxuries, those things aren't even allowed on the approved list. I used my last bit of aid just to buy basics like sanitary pads and shampoo

All these kinds of activities help people become visible. I think some people like to stand out, others the complete opposite.
