Rabbit hole

A December 5th present it was. I wouldn't call this a 3D puzzle, but a construction kit. I made many at the age of 7-8 and gave them as a present to every birthday child inviting me. 🤣
A real train wasn't in Saint's budget. I tried something new though it felt like crawling through a rabbit's hole.

Perhaps I'm old school, I believe construction kits like this are a far better gift for children. But I often feel burdened by the thought of the glares I might get for gifting something that doesn’t 'scream' expensive. Kids might not even recognize the true value of a kit like this.
When it came to choosing a gift for my partner’s niece, I decided on a farmhouse set with cows puzzle like yours.
I know I might be met with some elitist comments—especially since I forgot to remind my partner to claim the choice as his own.
Left to his own devices, he had actually picked out a baby-doll feeding set. It was a huge box, which is likely why he chose it, but it felt more suited for a toddler than a bright five-year-old girl. I simply couldn’t stand by and let him give it; I actually felt embarrassed for him.

These gifts are the worst. It's better to puzzle and use the brain. To be fair I doubt this is meant for little children. The box says 14+ years which says enough and if I see the shop selling this for sure the child knows the price. I doubt many children will make this these days though. Perhaps one or two nerds would. 🤐
These puzzles are not that cheap either. There's a shop selling this near my place. They have different themes, and I especially like the Japanese stores series where there are ramen shop, sushi shop etc etc. They are more than USD30 each.
I share your sentiment. Kids these days probably don't appreciate them.
They are indeed expensive. I never saw the Japanese stores series. If I can walk better I go have a look.
Thanks for the tip!
This is nice.

That is very nice 😍, Pitt there's no brand name given.
Those shops in a bottle are also great

This is a shop I like

I checked and indeed we call it bouwplaten or bouwdozen and not a puzzle since a puzzle one should figure out onedel and can be taken apart.

And here is Rolife

Those little shops in Rolife collection are so nice. The one in bottles too. At least they won't gather too much dust.
There train set would be nice too if I have the space and money for it. Like some I seen in the screen. Railway, trains. mountain and trees.
The same counts for me. We should live above a shop and use the shop for our collection 😁

A rabbit burrow makes me imagine a rabbit and many baby rabbits all crammed in there as if it were their home.
🤣🤣🤣 that's the place!
It's a beautiful train. An interesting and select gift.
In a way, you're part of the creation.
You put your hand in and leave your mark.
Keep being creative.
You have an interesting way in seeing things and putting it into words. I thank you for that. What is left is to find a place to store the train before I leave.
