Sandman
Time passes by fast at least if it comes to summer. The longest day is over meaning we are getting closer to winter again. I can't say I really felt that summer yet. It kept raining and only since a week (or shorter) the temps are higher (it did rain, let's say it saves me time watering the plants).
I try to make a garden as a gift and it's not easy since most of what we have is sand instead of good soil.
I’m leaving the old paving slabs, which remind me of the past (as in the song ‘Mr Sandman’), and the gravel pavers in place, although some of them do need to be laid a bit higher. Sunken slabs only make the water problem worse when it rains. There is a drain, incidentally, but it’s not much use. I’ve never seen any water drain away through it. It may be full of sand or mud, or just as bad as the sewer system (heavy rain always leads to a blocked toilet!).
Mr. sandman is called 'Klaas Vaak' (vaak means frequently and Klaas is an ordinary boy's name). He doesn't play a huge rule in a Dutchman's life. I never heard stories about this guy. I guess we simply fall asleep or stay awake and wait for the tooth fairy...
If it comes to the old days..I miss them. The lives we lived, the trust we had, the way people greeted another without second thoughts. Neighbours helping out and the good food we had. How about you?

I have no idea how this works. What I do is try to stay active and deserve the support . I'd be lying if I said otherwise. You know how I am. If there's a chance to win this help, I'll work to get it.
I will not apply for next month and I know you are active. I really feel sorry the creative ones rarely receive support.
I noticed those being curato month after month always vote same ones and another same for the nominations. They do not care too much about the rest. This besides of the fact the upvoted are getting smaller and Steem its value is close to zero same to other crypto. Not steem's faultore like Trump's war and the one world order plans. Just hang in and hope solperez will be chosen. Most likely she will.

I think it's fair to support the most active people, but well, that's just my humble opinion.
They do not or should go for most active but for those adding something unique to the platform. What exactly that is no one knows. Same counts for quality content.
It looks to if it comes to Steemit they only bet on games or at least try to find a way to attract investors — with games.
