SEC17 WK:#4: the effects of economic hardships on families

in Steem Kids & Parentslast month

Assalamualaikum, friends, brothers, sisters and brothers. I hope you are all healthy and always in good spirits.

This time I found an interesting theme in the weekly challenge. The theme is “the effects of economic hardships on families.”, this is very cool and not to be missed.

Building a family to reach that level of happiness is not as easy as flipping a hand. One of the main factors that hinder the journey to happiness in the household is the economic crisis. I have experienced this myself since I was born until now. I was born into a crowded family, with nine siblings and not a rich family.

Struggling to make ends meet, my parents had to work hard as farmers and sell traditional medicine. I had to be strong to face this simplicity since elementary school until now. When I was in elementary school, all I had for school snacks was a piece of cake and a glass of water. Not only that, I also had to save in the field of school clothes every year without any change, at most once every 2 years, not to mention stationery and notebooks.

So in the face of it all, I had to try to be an outstanding student in order to ease the burden on my parents. Finally, when I was in the second grade of elementary school I was given an achievement scholarship, how happy I was at that time. The more enthusiasm I learned and maintained my achievements until elementary school was finished and also I continued to get scholarships in junior high school and high school, even to college.

Now I no longer ask for anything from my parents, I can only expect the prayers and blessings of my parents so that I am easy in finding fortune. I aspire to make my parents and those closest to me happy before building a new family.

What have you done to help or how are you all coping with it? What adjustments have you and your family made to be able to cope?

As for the only way to help the family's economy, I can only work like studying photography and videography, where I can earn money that will ease the burden on my parents. In addition, with my presence on steemit, I also get a lot of support that can help pay for my education to study and go to college. At the end of the month, sometimes I set aside a little money for my parents.

I hope that with my income on steemit, I will be able to make my parents happy. I continue to try every day, through sad and happy circumstances. I keep trying and praying, and I often ask for my parents' prayers and support.
