DAILY DEVOTION: #11- THE EYE UPON YOU.

THE EYE UPON YOU

🕊 8 I [the Lord] Will Instruct You And Teach You In The Way You Should Go; I Will Counsel You 'With My Eye Upon You.'
PSALM 32: 8

Though purpose is our greatness which has to be discovered and conquered, purpose is never lost but hidden, caged, delayed by our focus as a result of the situational. This is why the Lord speaks to us through His word by the psalmist: "I Will Instruct You, Teach You In The Way You Should Go; I Will Counsel (Guide) You 'With My Eye Upon You!'"

🍓 Who Is The Eye (Great Witness) Of God In You Who Instructs, Directs and Counsels?

ZECHARIAH 3:9 - "For Behold The Stone That I Have Laid Before Joshua; Upon One Stone Shall Be Seven Eyes: ..."

Upon Jesus is the Spirit of God without measure (John 3:34). The Holy Spirit in His seven Eyes (manifestations) which also applies to the Church who we are since now Christ dwells in us. (ISAIAH 11:2-3)

1. By the Breath of God Almighty, We Receive Understanding Of The Scriptures (Job 32:8, John 20:22, Luke 24:45).
2. The Holy Spirit Shows Us The Way (Direction) We Should Go.

Isaiah 30 :21
, "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."

1. The Holy Spirit is our Counsellor,Comforter, Teacher, Guide, Advocate, Standby, Helper and strengthener.

🍇 John, 14:26 - "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you."

🐎 John, 14:16 - "I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor,{Greek Parakleton: Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, and Comfortor.} that he may be with you forever."

The Eye of the Lord upon you is the Holy Spirit. We have to know him, for he dwells "With you" and shall always be "In You". He is a person who is more real than anything in this world and alive. John, 16:13 - "However When He, The Spirit Of Truth, Has Come, He Will Guide You Into All Truth, For He Will Not Speak From Himself; But Whatever He Hears, He Will Speak. He Will Declare To You Things That Are Coming."

No one can impart the Holy Spirit into you. Only Jesus can impart the Holy Spirit because Jesus and Holy Spirit are persons. We only impart gifts of the Holy Spirit. You confess with your own mouth to receive Christ and Christ Jesus imparts (baptizes) the Holy Spirit.

John, 1:33 - "I Didn't Recognize Him, but He Who Sent Me To Baptize In Water, He Said To Me, On Whomever You Will See The Spirit Descending, And Remaining On Him, The Same Is He Who Baptizes In The Holy Spirit."

Engage the Holy Spirit in all you do; He will guide you and lead you. All you need to do is learn to fellowship and commune with Him. Invite Jesus into Heart and He will introduce the Holy Spirit to you.

🍅 Finally, as we continue to pray and fast, seeking after the heart of God; this whole week, we are REPENTING BEFORE GOD'S PRESENCE FOR OURSELVES, FAMILIES, NATIONS & THE CHURCH.

FOR THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD LEADS TO REPENTANCE (ROMANS 2:4, ACTS 3:19)

PRECIOUS Holy Spirit, I adore you in my life. For you're the eye of God upon my life. I yield to your leadership today to instruct, direct & counsel me in all things. Thank you for pouring out the love of God into my heart.
