Cheesy Experience at Fat Dois

When I first passed by this restaurant, I was really curious to try and dine there.It was an attention getter. Its bright red door was highlighted with bright lights. There were a lot of people outside waiting to be called. So there was this time that I already had a chance to go there with my friends. Even before the restaurant opened at 5pm, people were already flocking and listing their names on a paper placed outside. Some just put their name and would just estimate when they would come back for their turn.

When it was our turn, we ordered their main dishes Cheesy Chix, Cheese Ribs and Spicy Noodles. What made their food special is the overwhelming mozarella cheese on almost every recipe. I didn't expect cheese could make these dishes give a distinct taste.

The Cheesy Chix is a fried chicken topped on a sizzling plate, drizzled with special sauce (not sure if teriyaki, but surely it was so tasteful) and finally with the mozarella cheese. The only difference with the Cheese Ribs is that it was made of pork ribs and it was not crispy-fried.

Finally, can't help drooling for the Spicy Noodles with Spam and cheese. So instead of pork slices, Spam was used as toppings. It was veey creative. The cheese again enhanced the overall look and taste of the spicy noodles.

Fat Dois had their expansion to accommodate more customers. Hopefully they will also have different branches in various locations. The minimalist modern look of their place made it look like we are not far from home. Overall, I would recommend everyone to try this place.
