Very cool idea. I just checked out the test page for the first time and it is badass. The movie side is neat but I'm most interested in how this platform will be utilized by video bloggers and alternative media. Neat project, great write up!!
Really the movie side you see is just one small portion of what this will deliver. We just are using those for the testing phase and as a kind of preview to how far the content shares could end up going. Main goal for us is to get this to be a platform for all kinds of creators. Video bloggers especially due to the issues going on with centralization at them so constant lately. I look more at Visio as the protocol to free everyone from having the middleman trying to take profits off the top from content creators, we give them a home and place to build on so they can do what they do on youtube like sites but be in full control for themselves. Ad systems they choose to use and get their earned profits to continue their work. Basically this could reach out further than just movies and videos, even file sharing and web hosting could end up being built within in. Endless possibilities.
