Well, some might think 'Why this post even exists?' To answer that question, I don't think all the people know about 'Airbnb'.. and it's sure a good time to spread some words about it. It's Christmas and New Year!! Holiday time!!
Airbnb is such an affordable way to find accommodation around the world!
Airbnb could totally save you a lot of money while traveling or even earn you some bucks to spend on accommodation!
While traveling, accommodation is probably the biggest part of your expenses. Though, I have actually get free accommodation many times and it saves me quite a lot of money using Airbnb.
What is Airbnb?
It's a website that allows everyone to open their houses to all the people to rent (Yes! you can do too! I have done it myself :D) so you get access to more than 5 million unique places to stay with wide range of prices from $5 a night in more than 80k cities in 190 countries around the world.
So many kinds of places you can't imagine to stay in one like, boats, RVs, bubbles, huts, or even castles! Well, normal apartments, condos and houses too :)
How does Airbnb work?
You could easily sign up with this referral link (it will give you $27 in credit for your booking).
You also have to complete your profile with some photos and info as it's not just a booking site. Host could accept or decline you as a guest and you could also receive reviews from hosts after your stay. That makes Airbnb, a great place to find safe accommodations and rent out ones to nice people.

There are so many unique accommodations you could experience with Airbnb. You have a chance to travel like a local as a lot of the times the local individuals rent out their spaces themselves. Like, the one we stayed in Kobe, Japan. There's this kimono provided so I could try it on! Also the fact that we're sleeping on the floor with Japanese style mattress just like the locals do was just awesome! 1 Bedroom + 1 Bathroom + Kitchen.. Believe it or not, we paid just $25 a night for that!

ah, let me revise. AirBnB is just "illegal" for condo rentals and it is just one of those things that the government here just made up overnight presumably because hotels complained to someone powerful that they were not getting enough bookings not realizing that AirBnB for condos is more popular because the hotels are overpriced :)
I really like AirBnB, don't get me wrong. I use it whenever I can.
