The eldest of everything... / Der Älteste von allem...
Deutsch im Anschluß...
It stands in the Osternienburg countryside.
Silent. Dignified.
Older than anything else.
The 'Great Boulder' (1 trillion years old), the sign proclaims confidently.
One trillion years.
So the stone was already there when the universe wasn't even planned yet.
When the laws of nature were still in beta testing.
When space and time were still in the concept stage and had been submitted to the cosmic building authority.
The boulder remembers the time before the Big Bang well.
Back then, everything was even emptier than it is today.
It was practically alone in nothingness and thought to itself:
‘You could make something out of this.’
Then – boom – the Big Bang.
Matter is created. Stars. Galaxies. Drama.
And our boulder says:
‘Oh, now you're finally here.’
Later, the Earth formed around it. A nice service.
Continents drifted, dinosaurs trampled past, ice ages pushed it leisurely through the area.
It remained calm.
When you've got a trillion years under your belt, a few tectonic plates aren't going to stress you out.
Today, it stands in the fog.
With a sign that boldly claims what even time itself would not dare to say.
And somewhere in the cosmos, physics sits, sipping its coffee and murmuring:
‘Wait a minute...’
But the boulder remains silent.
It knows:
When you're old enough, no one contradicts you anymore.

Deutsche Version:
Im Osterienburger Land steht er.
Still.
„Hier könnte man was draus machen.“
Dann – zack – Urknall.
Materie entsteht. Sterne. Galaxien. Drama.
I disagree with almost every single thing in this article you wrote and the age of boulder but since you are one of my favorite authors of all time, I loved your post.
I read the sign in German (Deutsch) and knew what it said. Probably even pronounced it correctly in my mind as my inner voice sounded the words.
Oh I have been conducting an experiment, one of many as I always do. This was: if I write, will my crypto assets, like Steem go down? Like they did on Facebook, here, and most recently, Truth Social.
Doesn't matter where I write or what I say: into the tank the value goes.
Might as well write and be poor? What do you think?

You can write like a young god and still be as poor as a church mouse. Surprise: you can also write completely trashy stuff and become filthy rich. The world is crazy...
You disagree with almost everything in the post? Now I'm confused... We have a somewhat official sign in the area that proclaims total nonsense. My text offers a corresponding satire on it. Maybe I'll write another one ;-))

Yes, I understood the satire. Done very well. Kudos.
‘Oh, now you're finally here.’
What the boulder need to mock the universe. Boulder is ragebaiting.

Hey, is it real? I'm very bad in science and also with a weak memory! So this is the primigenian rock? 🪨

Oh no! It's satire! The universe is approximately 13.8 billion years old. There can't be a stone that's a trillion years old. Whoever put that official sign there urgently needs to brush up on their knowledge...!
LOL 🤣 yeah like me 🤣
