OCDb is THE BEST bid bot on STEEM Blockchain! Period!

Hiya!

Let's talk a bit about bid bots, OCD and OCDb. I wanted to write this post a long time ago but I wanted to test OCDb a bit so I can write it from my experience.

First, let me tell you that I am not a fan of bid bots. I understand that people use them to promote their post. In other words, they want their post to come to a trending page of tags that person is using. And, I don't have anything against that. It's perfectly fine with me to use them IF they think that their post is worth being on a trending page.

The thing I don't like is when I see silly posts on a trending page. It's like WTF is this now? Isn't this page supposed to contain good quality content? I believe so and I wish that one day it will be like that. There will always be some spam now and then but I think we have stranded a bit from our road and it's time to go back.

The other thing is, on the blockchain that is supposed to erase middleman from the game, with a lot of bid bots, you have that middleman collecting rewards. Ok, I understand it. You invested, it's a business, ... But, if we're going to bring our lovely STEEM up, shouldn't we suppose to walk the walk?

I'm not attacking anyone, I'm just asking questions.

I wasn't using bid bots until probably 2 months ago where I was introduced with OCD and OCDb. To be honest, I didn't have anything to promote that much to use a bid bot, but that's not a point. So, let's talk about OCD a bit and that bot that made my hard STEEM life much easier.

@ocd is a curation project that is looking for underrated authors who are writing good quality content but are not that visible on STEEM Blockchain. That solely says how much they understand that good quality content can bring this blockchain on whole another level. Also, they are not forgetting that small fish in STEEM sea can change a lot. Sometimes it just needs a bit of visibility.

I believe that there are a lot of people investing their precious time into their posts and when I see that they don't get rewarded for that, it just feels bad. I know it's demotivating to people who are really trying hard to bring this blockchain up. I was never into categories so whether you're a whale or a minnow, I believe if you have the right mentality that you should be supported.

Maybe the thing that I like the most about OCD project is that they have a whitelist! Yes, you've read it well. They have a list of 3000+ people who they believe are authors who are providing good quality content for STEEM Blockchain. This idea is brilliant for me because they walk the walk. They are literally supporting good quality content and authors who are giving their time in writing these posts.

Just imagine if every bid bot did that, just imagine how Trending page would look like. Wouldn't that be STEEM Blockchain that could be promoted easier to people who have real value but don't know about STEEM?

Even tho' OCDb is not created to be a promotion bot, I believe it can put some real thoughts into others on how to treat our blockchain. It will push everyone to be better. Don't forget that healthy competition can give as a big boost!

That tiny little bid bot that started his support a not long time ago just grew into a monster with more than 1.8mil SP delegations. He was so cute when he was little but now, you can see his true power! People who donated there are sure that their delegation is going towards authors who are providing good quality content. They are sure that they are not supporting shit posts. Isn't that great?

You want another GRRRREAT thing? They are non-proft! Think about it a bit more. #walkthewalk

So, if you are whitelisted and using @ocdb, be sure that you're going to have that smile on your face when you see the rewards you're getting. This is a big motivation for anyone who invests their time here in writing good quality content.

You can always see the queue here and see what others are writing about. You know that there are just good quality content there so I see that as some small STEEM trending page.

You can also delegate SP and see good returns in your wallet every day. I delegated 50 SP in the name of support and every day I see small returns in my wallet. It's not anything big but I only delegated 50 SP, so anything is more than good for me.

In the end, it all comes to Is this project truly what STEEM Blockchain needs? My answer is YES! The team behind it is awesome with some really appreciated Steemians and as you can see they are non-profit which says a lot.

I'm a big supporter of good quality content and having a bid bot that can promote good quality content and give you rewards for that, just set the bar a bit higher for everyone. The motivation is a big factor on this blockchain and OCDb is the one that helps you with that.
