Why What Q&A
Steem technology is revolutionizing the way we use social media and with its unique reward system, opportunity is presented to content creators which can ultimately impact lives for the better. With the flexibility and tools of the Steem blockchain, there are many opportunities to enhance the Steem experience and ecosystem.
A Q&A platform has been proposed on Steem for quite some time and only centralized attempts have been done which doesn't interact with the Steem blockchain. From our knowledge and experience in creating SteemTracked, we were familiar with the Steem blockhain and had the ability to fulfill the Steem Q&A idea.
Usually web apps are developed before mobile apps and our approach to What Q&A is the opposite as we always had the goal to create a Steem based mobile app. As there isn't that much documentation on using React Native to build steem apps, we thought this approach could eventually help developers coding in React Native when we release our methods and open source code.
Mission
With successful Steem apps such as Busy, DTube & DLive, we want to also offer an interesting alternative which doesn't require you to be a content creator and still benefit from the Steem ecosystem. We plan on building a Q&A platform that has the features you see on top Q&A apps and having the platform accessible by iOS, Android and web.
