Inside Out

Watching the news, watching social media, watching people strive to be right instead of looking for areas of agreement.

My skin is still smooth, my face unmasked, but if I were transparent, this is what these times feel like.

I'm not one to talk about things from emotion often, but I find the fighting exhausting. Maybe necessary, but exhausting.

I've got news for you. Trump didn't do it, Russia didn't do it, Social media didn't do it. Hillary didn't do it.. We are doing it.

It's mostly superficial... The media will change the topic again soon.

Inside out...

The world is pretty much crazy. Sometimes I can't help but think humanity is addicted to finding things to freak out about.

But you're right, soon the topic will change. Covid has lost momentum. Soon the riots and police brutality will fade. Maybe Ebola will stage a comeback. Could be we are overdue for an alien invasion scare.

=^..^=

I share your sentiment. I think (hope) at some point, respectful debate will be "in" again. Once that happens echo chambers will become less crowded.

"We are doing it."

I'm so glad it's not just me thinking that!
