Today we talk about 5 Possible NBA trades that could happen before the trade deadline

Demarcus Cousins

With the inconsistent play of the New Orleans Pelicans, the franchise has the potential on missing the playoffs this year. With the team currently sitting at the 8th spot the team is hanging on by a thread, and that becomes more and more worrying with Anthony Davis once again out of the line up due to Davis spraining his ankle against the pistons. With the Pelicans missing a key part of the team, the team is set to rely on Cousins to carry the load which he is definitely capable of doing but expect defences to key in on the big man. With the potential of the Pelicans missing out on a playoff spot, the franchise may look to trade Cousins due to his contract set to expire at the end of the season. With Cousin's contract and current high trade value due to his tremendous play this year the pelicans could look at trading the big man for assets to continue building for the future.

Nikola Mitotic

The Forward for the Chicago Bulls has been the centre of controversy this season as teammate Bobby Portis and Mirotic got into a scuffle in a scrimmage that resulted in Mirotic being sideline due to injury from Bobby Portis. Mirotic has been quite verbal in that he has requested that he be traded away from the team due to the strained relationship between him and Portis. Since Mirotic's return from injury the forward has been putting up impressive numbers with 17.4 points per game on 48.6% shooting from the field and 46.5% from the 3 (all of which are career highs), Mirotic's recent form has also resulted in the team picking up a few unexpected wins which may be good for the fans to see their team in the win column the front office appear to have the mindset on getting a high lottery pick in the upcoming draft which could see Mirotic possibly being traded to further worsen the teams roster to ensure a higher chance at the top pick.

DeAndre Jordan

With the Los Angeles Clippers experiencing a plague of injury that has shredded their roster in half with key players such as Danilo Gallinari, Patrick Beverley, Blake Griffin and Austin Rivers the team has had a hard time getting wins and has ultimately pushed them 3 games behind the 8th seeded Pelicans. With so many key components out with injury the team could explore potential trades surrounding their big man DeAndre Jordan who happens to be on an expiring contract. The clippers who are in a weird transitional after the Chris Paul trade could look to shake their roster up in order to gain future draft assets and simply call it a season early.

Jordan Clarkson
7968011.jpgThe combo guard for the Lakers has been on the trade block for the past few seasons and this season it is even more significant as the Lakers look to clear cap room to allow the team to sign big name free agents in the summer. With Clarkson play being inconsistent the Lakers seem more than happy to try remove the guards payroll off their books while Clarkson may also be in agreement that a trade should happen as the guard is nearing his 26th birthday with not a single playoff run under his belt along with the Lakers favouring fellow guard Lonzo Ball to run the offence for the franchise.

Tyreke Evans
tnbd106-ap.jpg To say the least it has been a disappointing season for the Memphis Grizzlies who have undergone a significant amount of injuries to key players such as Mike Conley and have recently also fired head coach Dave Fizdale. With the recent turmoil the Grizzlies now lied tied with the LA Lakers as the worst team in the West with a record of 12-27. With the Grizzlies poor performance recently the team could look at trading the one bright spot that has shined this season with the team, that being Tyreke Evans. The guard has put up impressive numbers this season with 19.7 points per game, 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists, with the guard on an expiring contract expect the Grizzlies to test the guards trade value to try and get draft picks in return.

Tell me down in the comments for other players that you think we be traded and were the possibility of these players could land.

I would be awesome if Jordan went to the Cavs

It would indeed, he'll help the Cavs protect the rim and get lots of rebounds basically what the Cavs really need at the moment.
