"You're Not Being Very Christ-like!" (nov 2012)

in #jesus7 years ago

We Watchmen on the walls are often confronted by unbelievers, and false believers, nominal christians and such, who haven't been born of the Holy Spirit, may or may not have ever been in a church (not that that would mean anything, if they have not known and continued in a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.), and may or may not have read the Bible (usually not, other than the verses, partial verses and paraphrasing cliches ripped out of context from the Bible and twisted as the devil's minions are apt to do), accusing us of not being ''very christian''.

I decided to post several quotes from the Bible, or from the world, and you tell me, which is Christ, which is antichrist (i don't mean THE Antichrist, just antichrist spirituality as spoken by angels of satan masquerading as ministers of light). Then, we shall see, who is being ''Christ-like", the one who speaks the truth, even when it hurts and isn't always nice and pretty, or the one who doesn't. (hint, this is a ''trick'' pop quiz...)

1: O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

2: Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

3: But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

4: Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast [it] unto the dogs.

5: Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

6: Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

7: There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out.

8: Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things?

9: Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

10: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

When you answer these questions, you will know the answer to the initial query.
