An estimated 5.6 billion people will use email at the end of this decade, and because more people have greater access to electronic devices, this number will only increase in the foreseeable future. One problem that email has that "traditional" mail does not, is that you can get locked out of your email, or some great misfortune may befall you. In either case, it would be a massive plus if you could back up your email so you can keep them safe. That is what Tecbasics MailBox does for you. It archives your emails and keeps them for the times the poop hits the fan.

For outlook i am used to back up pst files in my extern hard disk. I think this one does it automaticly for all mailboxes. It can be great solution for who doesn't use outlook. Thanks for this interesting hunt!

now a days every website automatically get access to your mail and they send you 100 of emails and it really hard to find the one you need and now in this mailbox i think we can save our important emails to use them later.
You've got a point there. Most of our lives revolve around email these days, so it might be a good idea to back it up. For now, I still do my backups manually, but I'll keep this product in mind. It still looks to be a prototype, so maybe I'll wait until it is released to market.
I did vote for this one; But not because I think it is a useful product, but just the total opposite. Backup emails, is more or less as simple as backing up files. Already for years devices such as USB sticks are around to just do that. Also, many SaaS service are around that 1) keeps your files in sync between local device and cloud and optionally with other devices, 2) create backups in the cloud, or to other connected devices. Therefore, my recommendation for this product is not to spend money on it, unless you have cash to burn.
