Lahmacun ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ•

Hello food lovers,
Meals cooked in wood fire are always my preference. Because the smoke and heat coming out of the wood adds a different flavor to the cooked food. Today I will tell you about traditional Turkish delicacies. My favorite pastry dish. The name of this dish is Lahmacun.

How to make Lahmacun. What is in it? I will tell you what kind of food they are like. I usually share my meals in the evening. A lot of people are getting hungry again. So don't worry. I hope you come across this post during the day. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The place you see in the photo is the bakery part of the restaurant. Here, food is heated with wood. Lahmacun dough should be crispy. It should also have a very thin dough. You cannot achieve this consistency in a normal pan.

There are Lahmacun masters. These masters make spicy and painless lahmacun. I don't like spicy lahmacun much.

Lahmacun masters immediately roll out the dough with their hands when the order comes. Then they put the stuffing on top of the dough. They then use the shovel to put it inside the oven. These shovels are specially made for these dishes. You can think of it like a long wooden stick. In this way, they get this lahmacun from the warm oven.

My wife and I are a little sick these days. That's why we couldn't go to the restaurant to eat lahmacun. We ordered lahmacun for home. I always like to eat at the restaurant. Because hot food tastes better.

Since this is not a very thick dough, you can eat a lot. I ate a lot of lahmacun because I love it so much. Because you can't get enough of just one lahmacun. Normally, soup is drunk before lahmacun. After drinking the soup, 2 lahmacun fills me up. But if I don't drink soup, the number of lahmacun I eat increases. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It is crunchy as you can see in the photos. The dough is rolled out in a round shape. Minced meat is added as an ingredient.

You can add it to the salad in addition to the lahmacun. I don't eat without adding salad. I also add lots of lemon juice. This makes the lahmacun more delicious.

Lahmacun is ready to eat. ๐Ÿ˜Š Now we fold it in a cylindrical shape. There is a crackling sound when folding. Don't think that you can get enough with just one. You decide to eat the second Lahmacun with the taste you get from Lahmacun.

Of course, drinks are indispensable with our meals. I haven't had a coke for a long time. Because I saw how harmful it is. Of course I miss it. But when I was eating this dish, my choice was ayran. Ayran tastes better when it is cold as ice.

Oh wow ๐Ÿ˜€, this is nice, i thought it's only in Africa where firewood are use for cooking. This is so interesting.

Over here in Nigeria, 85% of homes use firewoord for cooking meals, the reason is because, its much cheaper or free to cook with than using a gas or electricity.

I made a post few days ago about how i use firewood to cook chicken right here ๐Ÿ‘‰ Having good time with My Sister's Grown up Puppies

And the Lahmacun look yummy, i wish to have a taste someday...๐Ÿ˜Š.

Thanks for sharing this great article, now i have about Lahmacun

Wood fire in a closed oven adds flavor to the meal.

85% is a very high figure.

The food you shared looks delicious. There's probably rice pilaf on the side.

I hope you try lahmacun one day bro. Thanks for your nice comment. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
