Hello @everyone accept warm greetings from my motherland Cameroon.Once more welcome to blog today. As I share with you people my thoughts with given topic to be discuss “The effects of economic hardships on families”.

We live in the world today most especially in less developing countries and Africa as a whole. Most especially my home country Cameroon there is economic hardship .Making things very difficult for people and families to provide daily bread for their families.

This can be lack of jobs , or insufficient of income to run the family needs. Not wasting time,in the below sections my response base on the topic given will be focused on my experience and my country Cameroon in particularly.I hope you all will develop the interest to read through my post .

Economic hardships in my country Cameroon has been the talk of day. Prices of goods skyrocket everyday.Making money to be less valuable and things very expensive in the markets .The worst of all is the currents crisis in my country “The Angophone crisis” imposed by separatists fighters.For reason base not to them,fighting to take over from Present Government.

This started started since 2016 and uptil now the crisis is still going on . Families and innocent civilians have targeted . More than Ten thousand person have died killed by gunmen for allegations levied on them which are not reasonable . With crisis families have displaced from their comfort zones and they is serious economic crisis because there are no jobs.To take goods care of the family.

This has affected my family because at this period my husband job was not moving well. I quite remembered in 2018 when I got married things were very hard .As my husband source of income could not provides needs of the family .At times my husband will go for 2months without salaries .Life was really difficult couple to how expensive things were .

Eventhough, with the hardship in my family ,I learned how to manage and be satisfied with what I have.To cope with the present situation hoping things will be better day .I am someone I adapts in all situations ,I don’t stress my self to think on what I know it can’t be possible .Luckily ,I was a worker and I had to support my husband with some of the house needs .

Presently now I can’t count how many times I have gone to markets to buy foods and my money gots short .Due to the increased in prices of goods and services in the market .At times the money have allocated to shop turn to double two timed and am force to run to the bank and withdraw some cash to use from my saving account.

This show that everyday you spent money more than what you budgeted to spent . At times you see yourself saving less or nut saving because most your money is been used.Most of the time anything I budget with the present economic hardship end up using more than.Which at end it’s not even sufficient for my family.

The only thing what I decided to do is to be a supportive wife to my husband .I don’t only depend on one job for icons but I do multitask to have more income. This will has help me to cope with the economic hardship. To able to assist my husband in some house expenses and to save part of mg income. Also, I do not spent my money carelessly unnecessary things.

My husband too is a very hardworking person .Atleast things are not longer thesame than before .He is multi talented and does many jobs at at the same time . I say we are able to adapt with the present economic hardships without no problem.

I earlier mentioned my husband and I do multiple task to have more income to sustain the family .We don’t spend carelessly now but do things according to our income . Also, I make sure foods in my house should not be wasted carelessly.Leftovers are stored in the fridge to be eaten another day .
