The Diary Game [28/03/2025]Attended my friend’s white wedding.
Hello @everyone accept my special greetings from me in this beautiful world.To day is another bright new day for me share with you people my lifestyle activities for the day . Today is Friday of course weekend when most occasions are organized to take place . Today my friend is getting married,that church wedding.Starting from 10:00am at Menda Baptist church mile3 Nkwen .
She is a very good friend of mine and I have did everything possible even with my busy schedule.These days I should miss her church wedding. Early in the morning by 9:00am, I was done with other commitments and had to prepare myself .For my friend’s wedding . When I was done ,while leaving the house,I was lucky to have cab .To take me to the church yard .
I arrived church abit late because I was trying to put one thing order together before leaving the house .I was ushered inside the church by ushers.I got myself settled down and had to follow the church marriage services .The pastor was very fast with the church service. In two hours time it was over after the two couples have taken vows before God and man .Signed and sealed .
The church wedding ceremony was over and the pastor handed their marriage certificate.People were asked to move outside where there is space to take pictures with the couples . While outside the couples first took group pictures with family members.
After, everyone was struggling to take a picture with the couples . I could not see myself fighting to take pictures with the couples like other people .I had to just move straight to the hall where the reception is taking place .The kids sister of the bride woke up me to take a picture with me for the day before we can be going to hall for reception part.
The reception hall was just beside the church .There was no stress as in some weddings you see the organization is a bit complicated.This is because venue is located in a different environment and at times very far .But that was not the case with my friend’s wedding everything is put in one location .
While at the reception hall I was ushered to the hall and I was taken to the friends of bride table . The program for the reception was very brief and short .This one of the first wedding that I have attended and exactly at 5:00pm.The reception program is over ,While at the hall the bride mates and the couples were ushered to the hall with the music to the hall .
After, the occasion started properly while the bride settled down .Chair man and chair lady were called to seat beside the bride . My friend was very organised ,simple and very nice .After, the couples welcome the invitees and both parents of the bride and groom’s parents presented a word of welcome. Continue with other programs of the day like presentation of gifts .
We all presented our gift as me I hate buying stuff and carrying it to the wedding as gift .I alway prefer to put money in an envelope and hand it to couple.I always feel is better and after they will decide on what to buy .Rather, than buying something that might be of use to them.
Later,When the presentation was over , the next program was cutting of the cake by the couples .The last thing for the day was the reception part .There was plenty of food and drinks enough for the population present in the hall. For the past days I have been suffering from consumption seriously and I don’t have appetite to eat .I took juice and drank
When the reception part was over , there was serious dancing by the couples and invitees .I decided to go back home around 5:00pm. The my friends white wedding was a great one. The organization was good and everything went well .Wishing my friend the best of all in her marriage journey.
