Hello friends,I am finally ready to write my achievement three,and today i will be talking about content etiquette and plagiarism.
Firstly I want to start by answering this question
What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is the act of taking another person's work idea or knowledge as your own work,it is bad and regarded as online theft or stealing.
Plagiarism comes in different ways let's discuss some of the ways

1)self plagiarism:This is the act of taking your work or post that was submitted previous.OR the act of using the same things and the same words you used in your last or previous work.

2)Global plagiarism:this involves given a whole content presented by someone else as your own post .

3)Patchwork plagiarism :This type of plagiarism involves copying phrases,passages and ideas from different places and putting them altogether to make a new content. It is also known as mosaic plagiarism.

4)verbatim plagiarism:it means copying a post directly and pasting it in your post.

Instead of directly copying if we want to copy we need to put it in a citation, for example:

Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work. In educational contexts, there are differing definitions of plagiarism depending on the institution. Plagiarism is considered a violation of academic integrity and a breach of journalistic ethics.

How to avoid plagiarism
1)use plagiarism checker before you submit
2)paraphrase or quote from your sources (add your own ideas)
3)credit the original author in an in text citation citation and reference list.

In conclusion I will like to say that everyone should avoid plagiarism because it is a form of online theft or stealing.
