🐺 Customized a guitar

in #art7 years ago

I had this spare guitar lying around when I found an amazing photo of a friend that was a part-time model.
The two immediately clicked... I instantly knew that that photo would look amazing on the guitar.
I contacted the photographer and asked his permission to use his photo on the guitar, not only did he agree he also send me a better quality photo.

Once again I lost most process pictures (MAKE BACK UPS PEOPLE! especially of all your devices... lost so much sobs)
Luckily I retrieved a couple that I send to my friend

Starting out

Well technically... I had already started... Sanding guitars is a real female dog...
The first picture I have is after applying a base coat

First coats done

I took a break after applying the first coats it already looks quite fancy

Applying the photo

I used a transfer method to get the photo onto the guitar

Adding some details and a clear coat

The end result

What do you think?
Like it? Love it? Want to marry it? Want to take it out for a date or one night stand?

I would keep it close to my chest everytime. Nice job man.

Always the best place for a guitar!
Thank you very much
