Scary stuff and excellent post :)
I love motor cycles and had a near-death incident which did not stop me from so doing. But along with a realization of my true identity, I put all that away.
As inviting as the exhilaration of motor cycle riding can be, it would seem to me that the danger involved far exceeds that of motor vehicles which provide protection in the form of impact absorbing surrounding material and other safety providing technology.
The use of motor vehicles in general raise our risk of an early retirement from this life phenomenally in contrast to per-motorized travel and should probably never have been tolerated.
As a sentient being, endowed with a single life, or at least only one we truly know of, and whose existence is facilitated by a history of predecessors who's efforts made it possible, along with all the magnificent comforts we enjoy in out time, and for those who believe in a higher intelligence, as I do, on a creator who has very specific expectations of us and the value we place on the life we have and the obligations we have to contribute to the well-being of all things and entities which afford this reality and toward our progeny, we should refrain from risking our health and life for the sake of excitement, entertainment, wealth or frivolity and honour our existence with beneficence, wisdom, sound judgement and the pursuit of worthy goals.
