For most football players, they prefer to end their careers at a high paying club that offers more than even big clubs. This is why we see top prospects ending in unpopular leagues. As a player who is thinking of retirement, where would you choose to retire?

If I will have to choose a place to end my football career, I will surely move to a developing country in football, possibly my country Nigeria or any other African country. If I have been a good and popular player during my time of fitness, my presence in their league will help increase the reputation of their league and will also attract more viewers and fans to them.
I will also have time to speak with young ones that are looking forward to play for popular leagues and share my experiences and encouragement with them as it will strengthen them to do more in the world of football.
It is always good to give back to community. Thank you.
Cuando se comienza una carrera profesional en el fútbol, uno quiere estar en los mejores equipos, quiere vestir la camiseta de sus sueños y conseguir mucho dinero. El fútbol también es un trabajo, por eso el dinero están importante en estos logros, seguramente que muchos futbolistas van a querer jugar donde más dinero le ofrezcan y eso no está nada malo.
Pero a mí me gustaría terminar jugando en mi país, vestir la camiseta de un club en mi país sería el sitio ideal para retirarme, porque hay fue donde comenzó todo, jugando desde muy chico en mi tierra y quisiera despedirme con mi afición una vez llegará el momento de colgar los botines. Saludos!

For me, I think it's all about my personal archievements and individual records..
From the trophies I've won to the individual awards that I've been able to set up for myself for the years so far spent in my career...
If I'm a world class player like Lionel Messi, Christaino Ronaldo, Neymar Jnr and even Ronaldinho and I have been successfully playing for bigger clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG even Juventus whr I've won so many trophies including the World cup and UEFA Champions League even individual awards like Ballon d'or and even became the highest paid player in the world and I've saved and invested so much money that my 125th unborn generation will never smell or understand what poverty is then I'll be thinking of retiring in d club of my humble begining just to go back and put smiles on the faces of my old and current die hard fans...
Also if I've not had a classic career all through my playing years then I'll be thinking of ending my career in a club whether major or minor league that I'll be paid so much so as to save so much money and also invest for my generation unborn.

After a very long successful career playing in major football leagues of the world, wining titles and competing with the best players of the game. I would love to end my playing career in a club in China or Qatar where i will definitely receive lots of salaries. The truth is most footballers would end up been broke after retirement so, i would surely cash out on the fame which i have established in days of my youth playing the game i love to secure more retirement benefits for myself. Also playing in a relatively lower league as a famous football star would help to bring fame and fortune to the club.

Every professional football player want to play in a high profile team with the aim of winning trophies. Ending your career plans is also important. For me, I would've end my career at the club I started my career. Because they believe in me and gave me the opportunity to explore my talent to the world. There is a saying that,"never use your left hand to point your home". Even if I have to play one year for my boyhood club.I would've join my boyhood club even if they are not offering me salary,so just to motivate the younger ones to keep trying.

They say it's good to bow out when the ovation is higher but sometimes it's not always about us but about the hope, the feeling and joy we give to the fans. As for me, wherever I started my career, even if it's in a relatively unknown league, that's where I would love to end it. It's the start and the finish scenario for me.

For me after playing at the highest level and wining a lot of trophies and accolades, I would like to end my career at China ,so I will be able to make more money

After a successful career in Europe and playing in the best leagues in the world, i will love to end my playing career in my home land which is Nigeria Major League which is to help the youth and youngster to learn from me and I will stand as a source of inspiration to them as they chase their dreams.
