Good Charlotte - I Just Wanna Live

in #music7 years ago

Good Charlotte was proclaimed in 1995 in Washington, DC, after Joel Madden and Benji Madden watched the III Communication tour concert from Beastie Boys. The concert inspire these two Madden brothers to play music. Crazy Madden brothers are only capital of daring, because basically they are not know to play musical instruments at all. Together with Paul Thomas, a high school friend became a band far from the ideal called Good Charlotte. At the beginning of his performance Good Charlotte played a mixture of elements of punk music energy in the 70s. As the skill begins to be good, they also shifted more softly by combining punk revival music like a Blink-182 with Third Eyed Blind's alternative rock. After high school in 1998, the GC moved to Annapolis to pursue a broader career appeal. There they had won a local band contest with a prize making a demo recording in a good studio and get a manager.
To increase the flying hours, they also scavenge experience and fortune in pubs, bars and parties as a small paid band. in the same year guitarist Billy Martin completes the line-up. The first luck came when the GC was offered to be Lit's opener at a concert in New York, December 1999 talent scouts from Epic record  company saw their looks and immediately signed a record deal.

The proclaimed band carrying the flag of The East Cost Postgrunge community then launched the debut album Good Charlotte in September 2000. offerings came including a tour with MXPX, following the 2001 Warped tour, as well as traveling to Australia.

GC more skyrocketed again because MTv station recruit Joel and Benji to be hosted in the event "All Things Rock" is excited. In 2002, GC released the sophomore-album "The Young and The Hopeless" which was quite successful with cool singles like "The Anthem",  "Lifestyle of The Rich and The Famous". Following two years precisely in 2004, GC completed the success by releasing their third album with the title "The Chronicles Of Life and Death".

At the beginning of 2007 GC again kicked off the world music world by launching the album "Good Morning Revival" with first single "Keep Your Hands off My Girl".

Good Charlotte - I Just Wanna Live

Their third album, THE CHRONICLES OF LIFE AND DEATH, was released in 2004. Although the performance was not as good as the second album, the release of this album received good response from the musicians. His album sold up to 2.2 million copies. This album is considered to deviate from the previous album because of the difference in the composition of his songs. Nevertheless, all the singles in this album made it into the top 30 in the UK, except for the song We Believe. In 2005, the band lost one personnel, Chris Wilson, who left the group for personal health reasons.

In 2007, the album GOOD MORNING REVIVAL was released. The achievement of this album is more or less the same as the previous achievement. The next fifth album titled CARDIOLOGY was released on November 2, 2010. Currently they have not produced a new album, but still busy with a variety of tour activities throughout the region
