Perito Moreno glacier, Argentina

The Perito Moreno glacier is around 74 meters high on average measured from the surface of the water of Lago Argentino and about 5 km long at the terminus, so you can better imagine the magnitude of the glacier on this picture.

This is a picture taken of the glacier not long before we put our crampons on, we were about to start a trek on the glacier.DSC02612.JPG
