Week 5 Power Rankings
Boston Red Sox 25-9: Boston has to be concerned with the MVP candidate’s health. He’s been removed from multiple games now. Boston needs Mookie.

Arizona D-Backs 23-11: Matt Koch beat Verlander and Kershaw in head to head matchups this week. Special.

Los Angeles Angels 21-13: Pujols gets his 3000thand the Angels are rolling.
New York Mets 17-15: The Dark Knight has finally been ousted.
St. Louis Cardinals 20-12: One of the reasons for the Cards turnaround? Not giving up the long ball. Only 22 so far, lowest in the league.
Colorado Rockies 20-15: Rockies are playing pretty well given it’s May and they’ve only have a league low 12 home games.
Seattle Mariners 19-14: In the week that saw Ichiro move on, Dee Gordon has slapped hits everywhere getting 16 hits in a 5 game span.
Philadelphia Phillies 18-15: 7-13 against your own division is not a good recipe for success.
Atlanta Braves 19-14: Braves keep bringing up prospects while playing respectable ball pushing the timetable for contention closer.

Detroit Tigers 14-19: Miggy hits the DL leaving Detroit fans with no one to root for.
Minnesota Twins 13-17: The Twins season is spiraling out of control since a great first week.
Texas Rangers 13-23: When Bartolo Colon is pitching like your staff ace, you might have a problem.
