Winter is coming and kids are eager to jump out into the snow
with their Skiboards or preparing for hockey game . Research shows more than 30% of children hospitalized being the victim of sledding injury significantly head injury , So precaution should be taken cause traumatic brain injury can make a child permanently disable .
Shockbox designed a helmet sensor that can detect how hard the hit is and immediately sends signal to mobile via bluetooth. Their long rang bluetooth technology can transmit signal distance 100 M (382 FT) . This sensor also can count total hits.
Shockbox Sensor app uses a complex mathematical analysis to measure the impact . App also can pair all sensors of a team so that coach can identify player with serious traumatic brain injury.

after i visited the official web, i know that a lot of kind of helmets available, and this will guarantee the safety for our kids. instant notification will be sent if anything bad (i hope not) happened. :thumbsup:
This a great sensor to have for those people living in places where snow is falling, safety of kids is very important and thanks to this sensor, it can easily detect brain related injuries quickly and can save someone’s life.

This is a good tool to measure level of hamead injury sustained through skating. I would have loved one that prevent them from the injury in the first place.
Let's see if I understand correctly this gadget is basically like the helmets used by NFL players but for children? If so, I think it's great that this gadget helps us to be aware of any blows and possible damage that our children may have suffered and that could lead to serious problems. I imagine this helmet can be used in any weather or only in snow conditions?

This should be a must-have for every amateur and professional player involved in any type of contact sport.
The helmet sensors are a nice informative feature to have. It would give parents the information needed to make a wiser decision about their child's safety when involved in sport activities.
