Christmas Music Releases: Last Christmas

When the time comes to end of the year, we all starting to prepare for Christmas. What Christmas means for you? I believe we all have different approaches and different like and dislikes. Some of us are fans of family gathering and family and become very excited. There are still people who try to escape and spend the time of Christmas spirit and Christmas markets somewhere far away.
There are some certain things around December that makes it very special and festive, of course, people may thing the decoration, a lot of Christmas tree and lights and maybe figure of Santa.
As to me, there are a lot of emotional connection that makes me feel Christmas-like, there are two important things that play great role for me:
- The Song that is “must” for December and it is “Last Christmas” by duo “Wham”. Despite of old song that was first released in 1984, it is popular every year and everyone love to listen it at least once for the period of December. When I listen that it gives me a spirit of young people, who decided to celebrate their Christmas in mountains where it is snowing and there is a little winter house for them. Young people decorating their tree, having supper and spend time together skiing and falling in love. That is wonderful song and definitely must for Christmas.
- The song “Let is snow” that is always associates for me with the movie “Die Hard 2” with Bruce Willis. The whole story is developing on Christmas and in Airport of Washington where the police officer John McClane was waiting for his wife who supposed to land but there were some events that made it impossible. At the end is happy end and there is the song “Let it snow”. That is another song that for me associates with Christmas and I have to listen at least once.

You´ve made me cry with your selection. I can´t see any Die Hard movie at the same way I did when I was a kid and christmas is not the same.

Your selection really touched my heart. I feel nostalgia every time I listed to 1980´s songs or watch an old movie related or not to christmas.
